Story partner. Editor. Producer. Creative problem solver.

I help organizations and filmmakers tell complex human stories clearly, honestly, and beautifully — from capture through final delivery.

Decades of experience. Still curious about what comes next.

I've spent decades working at the intersection of storytelling, production, design, and technology.

My background crosses traditional boundaries: editing, producing, motion graphics, compositing, finishing, on-set production, technical problem-solving, and final delivery.

But the tools have never really been the point. The story is the point.

I'm most interested in work where there's something real underneath it — a complicated idea that needs to become understandable, a human experience that needs to be treated with dignity, or a story that needs the right tone before anybody can truly feel it.

The tools have changed many times over the course of my career. The underlying job has not.

Understand what the story needs, then find the best way to make it work.

The bridge between experience and new technology is judgment.

The work, in progress.

Editing rooms, locations, stages, and the people gathered around a difficult idea until it begins to make sense.

Wherever the story goes

The right tool for the story.

My goal is not simply to be the person operating the equipment or sitting at the editing system.

I want to be a story partner.

Someone a client can bring a difficult project to and say:

“Here's what we're trying to communicate. Help us figure out how to make it work.”

That's still the part of this business I love most.

Story, mood, and meaning — built through craft.
